Goldfields Printmakers at VAC Gallery, Bendigo

Deborah Klein, Leaves of Absence, archival pigment prints, 2015-16

Six of my Leaves of Absence archival pigment prints (pictured above) are currently on display in Goldfields PrintmakersElemental, at La Trobe University Visual Arts Centre in Bendigo. The exhibition, which was curated by fellow Goldfields Printmaker Josephine Walsh, was launched last Thursday night by veteran artist Jeff Makin, to a warm and enthusiastic crowd.

During 2016, the Leaves of Absence series will be expanded to form the basis of a limited edition artist book. A selection of the images were recently included in the Moth Woman Press mini-zine, A New Leaf (2016).

Elemental opened on 24 February and runs until 10 April.
